Mate I can assure you it wasn't ok. It was pretty dismal. We had nothing in way of creativity to break them down. Was turgid bar a rare few moments.

At me old man’s 70th on Saturday so never watched the match… saw the highlights… to be fair the 2 mins of football and the 2 mins of BBC showing disgruntled people streaming out it looked ok…

Sir Alf, up until Saturday Swansea had played three PL away games and not conceded and one of those games was against free scoring Spurs. So we were the first PL team to score against them in four away matches.

Fuck off Lily. You sound like a deluded minge.
Swansea are shit. So are we. No positives to be had from one of the worst games in history. We were lucky.

Alf
If they'd had a better attack, it would have meant a weaker defence, as they put everything into clean sheets, so we may well have scored more. We would have had more chances to score at least.
Loads of Ifs and Buts, to be honest. The only certainty is that we managed to break a very stubborn defence by persisting right up into injury time, and we did this while playing far from our best.

All of these posts look insignificant compared to the tragedy that is you trawling through collecting them to make a not particularly good point.
Back to licking windows for you.

I think everyone knew that any team with a half decent attack would have scored at least 1. It was a relegation level performance in all but the result.

Forgot about Ayew.....whenever you look at him he seems to be walking around with his head down
Always thought he is worth persisting with as there is a player who can get 10 a season but after sat be hard to find a space for him on the bench against Burnley

Carroll too. Absolute fucking donkey. Needs to be off the bench only. Sakho has more class in his little finger than that battering ram.

Never seen us not deserve to win a game as much as that one. Thought a draw would of been abit harsh on Swansea, although for all their possession they dont create many chances
We look unfit, no intensity to press or to win the ball back. We just got people behind the ball instead of showing any desire to go and win it back in thier half
Our two centre midfielders do not get around the pitch enough or have the ability or bollocks to take the ball in tight & dangerous areas and pass it forward effectively
Antonio looked unfit and had no stamina. Hernandez isnt a winger and didnt work back enough
Carroll was shit
Bilic sets up with 4 defenders on the bench at home to a bottom 3 side. He knew Antonio was carrying a knock and yet doesnt put a winger on the bench. Why no Holland or Haksobanovic on the bench? Even after the win its time to go. He isn't good enough, and we havent been for too long. First it was the stadium teething probs then it was the no striker then it was shit owners then first 3 games away its just excuses after excuses enough is enough. Especially if Everton lose patience with Koeman.
Lucky it wasnt anyone half decent otherwise we would of been hit for 4 or 5
On the positives though thought the two centre backs were excellent and Zaba had another good game. Bloke is a winner, if they all had the application and desire he had we'd look a top 10 side. Fonte played his 3rd or 4th decent game for us, nice to see him get some consistency and finally look like the player we thought we had signed.
Nice to see the two subs get involved for the goal, fantastic cross from Arthur and good finish from Sak.

Totally understand the quality of the game at the w/e was poor - as was the majority of the performance against Spurs.
But prior to the Huddersfield game, the complaints were we are shipping too many goals. Now, in the last 5 games, we've kept 4 cleans sheets - (Yes Huddersfield/West Brom/Swansea/Bolton are the best oppo) BUT it's a stark improvement. The game we've shipped them in was against a free scoring Tottenham side.
Now I know we all love a moan, but we seem a little more convincing at the back than 6 games ago - Ok, this has been at the detriment of our attack play, but any decent team need a solid base. I'm all for tightening up at the back and sacrificing a few goals if it means we can start to build, gain confidence and start moving up the table.

I think unfortunately it all comes down to one player, if Lanzini hits form we will get both wins and the football we would to see.
Bilic is not such a big problem as many of you want him to be.

Yes I'm sure he is a dead man walking if things don't improve soon. Apart from the odd occasion, the team have still not adapted to the new stadium and it looks like being his downfall. Whether they will learn to adapt better under someone else is a matter for some debate.

Most people think a problem can be solved with a cheque book. Usually, someone elses cheque book. Life is normally sorted out by being smarter. If you want to watch success or tippy tappy follow Barcelona of Man City. I'm happy with a shit West Ham cos its always been the same.

On paper we've got s very decent first team squad when all are fit, better than about 12 other clubs and arguably as good or better than Everton's. That indicates the problem is the manager and obviously Sullivan. Had we added Carvalho or similar as we should have we'd look even better on paper. A better manager would get more out of these players, I have no doubt.

Cannot agree with your opinion about giving Bilic more time simply down to the lack of improvement in over 12 months. 100+ goals in less than 60 games is a stat that is damning IMO. But that''s football... opinions :-)
